Healing Story Ranch trainings and retreats are designed for educational, psychoeducational, and personal growth purposes.

These programs include instruction informed by established stepfamily and two-home family systems models, including the work of Dr. Patricia Papernow, along with clinical frameworks used in professional practice.

Participation in any training, retreat, or event does not establish a therapist-client relationship with Stephanie Sternes or any affiliated facilitator.

Although Stephanie Sternes is a licensed mental health professional, all services provided through Healing Story Ranch are offered in the context of education, consultation, and experiential learning, not psychotherapy or mental health treatment.

These trainings are designed to increase understanding of two-home family systems, not to provide individualized clinical care.

Not a Substitute for Therapy

These experiences may include psychoeducation, discussion of personal and relational patterns, and application of clinical frameworks. However, they are not a substitute for individual, couples, or family therapy.

If you are currently experiencing significant mental health concerns, high-conflict family situations, or safety issues, you are encouraged to seek appropriate clinical or medical support in your local area.

Professional Boundaries

Facilitators may include licensed professionals and may present material consistent with clinical training models. Their role within this setting is educational and supportive, not clinical.

No diagnosis, treatment, or therapeutic intervention is provided within the context of these trainings or retreats.

No emergency or crisis services are provided.

Two-Home Family Systems and Non-Forensic Disclaimer

Content may address divorce, co-parenting, stepfamily dynamics, and high-conflict family systems, including patterns often discussed in clinical and legal contexts.

These trainings and retreats are not forensic services. They do not include custody evaluations, parenting time recommendations, or legal opinions of any kind.

Participation in any Healing Story Ranch experience may not be used as evidence in legal proceedings, nor should it be represented as a clinical evaluation, expert opinion, or therapeutic service for court purposes.
